* PPAM'2001 is a Satellite Event to the FIRST SIAM-EMS Conference, September 3-6, 2001 Berlin, Germany.  

The format of the Fourth International Conference on Parallel Processing and Applied Mathematics (PPAM'2001) will follow the pattern set by its successful predecessors, the PPAM'94, PPAM'97 and PPAM'99 conferences, which were held in Czestochowa, Zakopane and Kazimierz Dolny, respectively. PPAM'2001 is dedicated to a broad variety of subject areas within parallel and distributed processing, including theory and applications. The Conference is also intended as an open forum in the field of applied mathematics. An important goal of PPAM'2001 is to foster communication and cooperation between communities studying problems in this field and communities involved in parallel/distributed computations.
